Welcome to this Edition

New Year is in full swing. We packed up our holiday lights and stored them in the attic. I hope you did it too. If not, do it before the cold front this weekend.

In this edition, we move away from holidays now to new beginnings. We tell you about what’s brewing on the corner of Stone Oak Parkway and Canyon, if you haven’t heard.

And then, you will learn about selected events for your family this coming weekend.

Stone Oak Mercantile development expands dining & coffee options

Fulcrum Development is transforming the corner of Stone Oak Parkway and Canyon Golf Road into a 57,673‑square‑foot mixed‑use center with a two‑story promenade. The project, expected to open in fall 2026, will bring the first San Antonio location of Crust Pizza Co., known for scratch‑made 10‑ and 14‑inch pizzas including cauliflower and zucchini crusts, and Black Rock Coffee, a drive‑through café offering creative drinks like grapefruit, kiwi and lavender sodas along with nitro cold brew and matcha lattes. Together with additional boutiques and services, the Mercantile promises new family‑friendly dining and shopping options.

Froyo favorite 16 Handles headed to Stone Oak
